My ideal Job!

Hello again! today I'm going to talk about my ideal job.

After finishing my practice I would like to work in a public hospital, hopefully in Santiago and near to my house to have more free time and devote myself to do other things like going to the gym, spend more time with my family and so on. Although I also like the idea of going to work in regions for a few months I would be a great experience and a good contribution as people of regions have a more difficult access to salud. Also patients according to my teachers are more grateful and loving.

I would like to unfold in the area of pre and delivery room.
The schedule in such areas is a little hard because they are shifts but for a young professional with all the enthusiasm to help the community is not think I difficult help and serve the patients better.

And when I have more years my ideal job would be have a pregnancy center where women can do exercises like a style of yoga, activities in waterpool and with balls... for do easier the pregnancy and the birth.
With a center for mothers I would have a schedule more comfortable and be surrounded by colleagues from my utmost trust.

A bit of my life!

Hi all newly!
In this occasion I will tell a little about myself!
My friends tell me Kim I´m 19 years old I´m living in Santiago with my mom and my sister. My relationship with them is very good, My father and I see each other every weekend. From my parents separation between all relations have improved too.

I study midwifery at the University of Chile. I chose this career because I like helping people, I love children. Also believe that a midwife has a relationship with people more than perhaps any other professional.

Besides the pregnancy, delivery and puerperium are the most important stages of a family and if I can be involved in this process would be wonderful, I think the arrival of a child at home is an opportunity to rethink life, set goals and reach new already proposed.
Also a midwife has the opportunity to give advice to mothers on how you can achieve a good relationship with your children at birth and through childhood. that is why as a midwife can contribute both to the welfare of the mother, son, but also of the family.

In my free time I like to sleep late, go out with friends, spending time with my family but I have not much free time with the university. I try to take advantage of what maximom possible. Saturday day in the morning me and a group of friends are going to a camp in Lampa to make teaching children. It is a wonderful experience for children you have delivered an incredible anergy and a desire to learn can make them happy for a while with so little.
It is a bit of my life.
I see you!

Education and prevention!

Hello to all who visit me again!

On this occasion I´m going to talk about the Education and prevention, specifically of a midwife may provide.
In general, the midwife is one of the professionals who have more contact with people especially with women. Is the midwife who cares
of the women during youth, pregnancy and puerperium.

This allows us inside posicon directly educate women on important issues such as sexuality, family planning, care must be duarante pregnancy, lactation, etc.
These issues are important not only for women, also are very important for the whole family because the benefits are for the entire community.

An example of these benefits is the prevention. The midwife can educate women so that they know how they can prevent unwanted pregnancies, sexually transmitted diseases, etc, issues that involve the entire society.

Some ways to educate the population about health issues is through lectures which can be performed in clinics, in schools, etc.
Also in every cotrol the midwife can answer questions the user, strengthen introduced topics and report on new topics of interest to the user.

Some effective ways to educate people is through the use of appropriate language, hopefully with the support of didactic material, seeking a pleasant environment between teacher and educated people.

Having the ability to educate is a beautiful gift hopefully us as future health professionals we are able to effectively educate as many people, we may be able to pass our knowledge towards a common good.

bye see you !

Gender Role in Health care

Hi all who visit my site!

Today I will tell you about Gender role in health care specifically of the woman or men midwife.
The majority of students of obstetric are woman, perhaps is for a matter of prejudice.
The truth is that always has been thought that only women are those who can attend births this way of think comes from ancient times where only women could attend or be present at birth.
Today this tendency chauvinist has been declining.
Little by little the man is being inserted in this beautiful area of health.
The responsibilities for the woman and men in obstetric are the same, the salaries are very similar there is less difference in the role that plays a man or a woman in comparison with other health professionals such as doctors, where men have more privileges and a higher salary than women.
These trends have been declining over time because society is becoming less chauvinist.
Regarding the care the pregnant she prefer that to be men who meet their delivery because they think that the men are more careful.
In obstetric the men generally prefer assist with deliveries.
Hopefully every day the society is less chauvinist and a greater number of men study obstetric or a greater number of woman study medicina and both have the same opportunities.
bye see you!
