2010 Years of the Bicentennial of Chile!

Hi all!
In this occasion I am going to talk about the Bicentennial of Chile

The Bicentennial of Chile took place on September 18, 2010. Its celebration commemorates the beginning of the Independence process in Chile, with the first Government Junta of Chile on September 18, 1810, and that after eight years, Chile became a free and independent country. Several activities were prepared for this occasion by the Chilean Government and celebrated by every Chilean. Holidays are given so that all people can share with their families.

The Plan Bicentenario was started during the government of Ricardo Lagos, A committee, Comisión Bicentenario, was established on October 16, 2002 through Supreme Decree.
Several plans were made for the event, amidst them: the construction of major roadworks and infrastructure, such as Plaza de la Ciudadanía, or cultural works, such as Centro Cultural palacio la moenda, Biblioteca de Santiago and Centro Cultural Matucana 100.
These are some of the expectations as a country for this Bicentennial personally I have many dreams, professional, with my family, friends, and health.
Professionally or rather as a student I plan to finish this year the university as relaxed as possible, enjoy my teammates and obviously pass the classes.
with my family I'd spend the maximum time possible with them, tell them I love them all the time because there are people who do not have that possibility, sometimes we forget the people who never fail us with my friends every day I would like to know more go out, have fun, go to Valparaiso to celebrate the new year. I also go on tour in the summer with a group of friends want to go to tour North and Latin American countries know Bolivia Ecuador Colombia hope this great travel experience.
I know I have not yet big dreams but I think these will emerge over time by the time I like to do things I do, I can help others by giving them the joy, some advice.
in the future one of my biggest dreams is to travel to extremely poor countries to offer pregnant women the opportunity to deliver their child in a humane and safe giving them the opportunity to live a dee most beautiful experience as pleasant as possible for them to create mother-child bond

Creedence Clearwater Revival

Hi all!
In this occasion I am going to talk about one of the most memorable rock bands and shortly will be in Chile. Creedence Clearwater Revival (often abbreviated CCR) was an American rock band that gained popularity in the late 1960s and early 1970s with a number of successful singles drawn from various albums.
The group consisted of lead vocalist, lead guitarist, and primary songwriter John Fogerty, his brother and guitarist Tom Fogerty, bassist Stu Cook, and drummer Doug Clifford. Their musical style encompassed rock and roll and swamp rock genres. Despite their San Francisco Bay Area origins, they are sometimes also cited as southern rock stylists.
CCR's music is still a staple of American and worldwide radio airplay and often figures in various media. The band has sold 26 million albums in the United States alone.

For me this band is very important because every time I hear his music I remember when I was little and I went on vacation with my family in the van of Dad. We used to listen to the records of every trip creedence all sang together, the truth is we have memories.
One of my favorite songs is Have you ever seen the rain? as a child the truth not just me learning what it said now that he knows the meaning of the song I like but is really critical.
This is what I can tell about this great band.
see you: D

Myths and truth about the human brain!

Hey all
In this occasion I going to talk about the esposiscion made by Dr. Pedro Maldonado, teacher of physiology of the Faculty of Medicine of University of Chile. the topic was "Myths and truth about the human brain".
Dr. Maldonado commented about some myths that exist about the human brain:
one the myths was : “the human brain is different to the other animals” he said that this was false, because the human brain have the same structures that have other animals as squirrel, monkey , dolphin, etc, the difference is that while the animal is more evolved he have more furrow in your cortex.
Other myth that he denied was : “for each activity we use a part of the brain”, this is false because the brain activate a lot of parts, when we read, think, or simply see, listen in fact when we don´t make anything, the brain have activity too. the brain never rests not even when we sleep. Also he denied the possibility that “we use the 10% of the capacity of our brain”, because we use all the capacity of our brain but on different moments, also exist different studies show the different mental capacities between mens and womens generaly men have much more ability in math than women.
Other myth very popular denied is that "the brain is like a computer". becouse the human brain has incredible capabilities of association, memory, processing feelings that do not have any computer machine.
In my opinion is very important know mechanism of the human brain becouse determined the behavior of the people.
bye see you :D

Why do record numbers of young people have sexually transmitted infections?

Hi everyone!
Today I going to talk about an article that I found very interesting It reflects a worldwide problem the name of this article is "Why do record numbers of young people have sexually transmitted infections?”
This article is on the website : http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/audio/2010/oct/15/focus-podcast-sexually-transmitted-infections-audio

Here Rosie Swash investigates the reasons for the UK's high level of sexually transmitted diseases among 15 to 24-year-old.
Based on the recent research published by the Health Protection Agency.
Women are particularly at risk, the figures showed.
Last year there were 482,696 new STI diagnoses - almost 12,000 more cases than in 2008.
In this week's Guardian Focus podcast Rosie Swash explores the reasons for this. She speaks to experts at sexual health charity Brook, Chris Bryant MP and teenagers themselves to find out why the numbers are so high and what needs to be done to get them down.
The lack of adequate sex education at school is often blamed, and Rosie visits her old school in north London to find out how they deal with this.
Many argue that parents exert a stronger influence over young people than schools. Young people tell Rosie about their experiences in broaching the subject with their mothers and fathers.
She explores the cultural reasons for the high numbers of STI's. Do we have double standards when dealing with sexually active girls?
In the end she opens a forum for young adults who want to express respect your opinion about
in my opinion I think these figures reflect a cultural change is a reality that young people increasingly earlier start their sexual life thus have a higher chance of getting an STI and if we add an inadequate sexual fitness is not about strange that these continue to rise.

In my opinion I think these figures reflect a cultural change is a reality that young people increasingly earlier start their sexual life thus have a higher chance of getting an STI and if we add an inadequate sexual practices is not about strange that these continue to rise, I believe that education begins at home is the family who has to put aside prejudices and see these issues as taboo subjects and parents should sit down with their children to explain the changes they experienced what it means sex diseases that are presented and the importance of caring as well not risk their health and that of the person you want.

As I stress management

Hello everyone on this occasion i going to talk about how I stress management.
Over time, as we grow also grow obligations, whenever we have more commitments to meet and the time is becoming shorter so it's normal to feel a little overwhelmed or stressed.
It is a matter of walking through the center of Santiago there we see that all the people walking in a hurry, angry, sensitive, or sometimes just sit and fall asleep, these are the clearest symptoms of stress, or those that could lead to future stress .
The causes may be multiple but usually the people that live in Santiago is more hectic than in other regions.
In my personal experience over the years that I felt stressed, were third and fourth means becouse I had to go to school and then to pre-university, was very exhausting to be since eight to four in the afternoon at the school and after to be since five to eight the night at the pre-university there, and having to get home to study for the next day the truth was too hard, at those moments when I felt stressed, maybe it is for this reason that I go to university proposed to be as relaxed as possible because I want to enjoy this stage as much as possible and I think if you can fulfill all obligations and be calm at a time, although the academic load is a lot I think some people have many more problems or most important things for which you really have to worry that I have to do, thinking about it gives me energy to try to meet all I have to play.
Today I tried to make the weekend just to share with my family, hanging out with my friends, going to camp and leave the studio for the week. so far I've met in all my duties and I feel more peaceful.
I think it really is important to take time to recreate out of a rut, living life is not all study and work I think that if a person is locked in if it is lost the meaning of life, and there are so many things to enjoy and life really is worth taking the time.
bye see you!

I am Sam

Hello all I hope are well!!

On this occasion I going to talk about my favorite movie.

I Am Sam will likely make you say, "Wow!" afterward of see her because it is a masterpiece on every artistic and technical level.
The film tells the story of a young woman who leaves her daughter the same day of her birth with your father, Sam Dawson, who is mentally deficient. The film narrates the difficulties he had when, after 6 years, Lucy starts to have more mental ability than his father. The State questioned Sam's ability to educate his daughter so that is facing a trial that it could lose custody.
The music,is very intersting largely consists of Beatles tunes performed by other artists, fits the film perfectly. Sam and his friends are all a bit obsessed with the Beatles and the lyrics often complement emotions and actions.

Also on I Am Sam we can see a heart-wrenching story that's something of an exciting, emotional roller-coaster. There are many humorous scenes, often centered on Sam and his buddies going about the world with a kind of Winnie the Pooh-like wisdom that seems more honest and admirable than most of the film's "normal" folks. Of course, there are also many scenes that will require tissues for tears.
The truth is that I am very tearful but this movie excites you really believe that playing such important issues as love, proving to be the main ingredient in the family and in life.
I think that this movie teaches you to value the simple thing of the life, also it shows that some ideas are only outcomes of prejudices.
I recommend to all people that to see the movie because help you a to look a just beyond, also is wonderfull.
Bye. See you soon

"Perfume"

Hello! to all!

Today I'm going to talk about my favorite book "Perfume- The Story of a Murderer"
Perfume: tells the story of Grenouille who is born into the slums of 18th century France. Despite being separated from his mother at birth and being initially segregated from society for having no bodily odour, Grenouille survives out of sheer spite and sheer malice, transforming into a master perfumer and genius with a sense of smell so acute, that he can separate any scent into its tiniest components.
The narrator initially describes Grenouille as a obsessive man who, lives encapsulated in himself. This description proves incredibly accurate as he proceeds to work for several master perfumers to learn all the skills of distillation and scent extraction which he needs to enable him to follow his ambition of recreating human odour.
At this point Grenouille begins grow in awareness and as I was reading the beginning of his journey, felt empathy towards him and respected his strong desire to achieve his aspirations. As the journey continues however, Grenouille goes beyond merely recreating the human odour and sets out to capture and ripen the scent of humans who inspire love, which he believes will, take on a gravity that no one, man or woman, will be able to escape. To do this he must kill 25 young virgins.
The narrative is rich in sumptuous descriptions and spine-tingling imagery which really captures the imagination.
Perfume was recommended to me by a friend who described it as, one of the books you just have to experience before you die. Now, after reading it for myself, I have to agree.
